Been a pretty busy week. Practise on my baking skills, exercise, catch up/dinner sessions with some friends. Make a trip down to Flor's new place @ Thornbury which was 7km away from city. The bus uncle was really nice to inform me the street's name. All thanks to his help and I managed to find my way to her place:) Anyway, the townhouse was amazingly huge with 3 bedrooms and include facilities such as the BBQ pit, gym and the swimming pool. Wow. How I wish that I will have a swimming pool in my apartment too!!! :( In this way, I can swim more often. Argh.

Went for a swim together with Vali at her apartment. It's a small (outdoor with shelter) pool with double lanes. At that time, only 2 of us were at the pool. So, we did some swimming and jumping together!! Hahaha. Attended Meditation session @ East Malvern last night too. Stayed over at Vali place yesterday, Lunch at Dainty Sichuan @ South Yarra, followed by a bowling session @ Ed Hardy Bowling Alley in Melbourne Central.

Snapshots of the Alley

Simply love the environment, nice comfy sofa and lightings, accompanied by pop music.

That's Vali on her move.

Lovely lightings and comfy sofa.

It's don't look like a bowling place isn't it? More like place for party.

My First Rock Cake Attempt

Result : Failed (Taste more like biscuit instead of being soft inside & crunchy outside)
Who want to be my guinea pig??? :p

Let's do some compare and contrast!!!

It's the berry season!
I'm pretty shocking to see such a big strawberry selling @ Phrahran market.
Big Strawberry VS Small Strawberry

Spring Cleaning of Apartment today and to be continue tomorrow. Wipe, wash & vacuum everything. Hopefully, I lose alittle bit of calories by doing this. I need to start packing & re-organise my stuffs soon before school starts.

The weather is mad. It's really hot in the afternoon when I cycled to High St to buy some stuff. The heatwave is totally unbearable. I am wrong with my assumption by assuming the hot weather will last the whole day. Hence, I went out to meet Vali for dinner without bringing my jacket. A sudden change in the weather from Super hot to Cold & Windy at night.. Damn.

Dinner @ Old town. Walking aimlessly on the streets since all retail shops are closed. Headed to Safeway (Supermarket) to walk around since that's the only business which is open. Followed by a dessert @ San Churros.

Firstly, Welcome to the EAST Van!!! Everyone in the family must be busy shifting house today. I'm so glad that we'll be staying so close to each other next time. That's great! This means that our meet up session will be alot easier & more often too. In future, we can just meet up at the nearest shopping centre @ tampines for tea-break:)

Secondly, someone called me up on 31st Dec for an interview this coming tues. Wish me luck people & may the interview goes smoothly for me! Actually, I'm not really sure if I'll be able to get the job as I have no experience in waiting. I popped by that cafe yesterday with Cynthia, wanted to try the food, at the same time see how is the environment & surroundings area. Unfortunately, cafe wasn't open. From outside, it seemed to be rather pretty cosy cafe, surrounded in the up-market apartments at St Kilda Road.

Thirdly, Dad called me on NYE and asked me how am I??? Infact, I am happy to hear his voice. :) He asked if I plan to stay at my current apartment next year or am I going to share with friends? After much considerations, I still think that I will continue to stay here myself as Cynthia's house is too far away from school, if not I could possibly be sharing with her since she's looking for a housemate. I told dad about the interview. I know he will keep reminding me what's my priority for now and not to tired myself (hee... that's the usual him). Even though it might not be a good job, but at least I will have additional allowances for myself to buy the things I like and going to places where I want to go at my own expenses. I promise him that if I ever get the job, I will juggle my time well with my studies & casual work.

At times, I will recalled the words that someone said to me. She said :"If I can turn back the time, I will make sure I will do it well once and for all" I thought that this somewhat makes sense, if not one might regret it for not doing it well in the first place.

FINALLY,

My Aim for the new year

1) Focus on my studies and to do well for exams
2) To be very Independent
3) Learn to Cook
4) Improve my English
5) Visit Xinwei @ Adelaide and lastly
6) Visit NZ :)

My first Sushi-making Attempt
Enjoyed playing with the food, decorating it even though it wasn't that well done. Spending way too long to prepare everything, which results my bro & his gf snacking away while waiting for my sushi to be ready.
TADA!!!!!!
Proudly present to you my final product.....
(p.s. infact these are the nicer one. Ugly ones are already right inside my stomach!! :P)
Let's welcome the New Year 2010.
It was my first time to experience the new year in overseas, going for countdown with friends. It was rather an eye-opening event for me and felt alittle scary with all sorts of people around. It was kinda chaotic here. Despite the thunderstorm on NYE, there are still plenty of people going for the countdown celebration at Fed Square, watching the fireworks along Yarra River with an umbrella in hand.

Thai food for dinner with friends, played some card games over at Vali's apartment before heading down to Yarra river for firework at 12mn. Stayed over at Vali's place and we could hear loud bangs, yelling & car honking in the middle of the night. Probably are from the party-goers from "Sensation" - the largest disco party where everyone will dress in the colour of White. I even saw a girl who even dye her hair whole white! Obviously, she dyed her hair for this event. I'm totally speechless and amazed by her action.

Me, Vali and Sophie :)
Watched Princess & the Frog @ Jam Factory. I simply love the show. Awww, it was so sweet and romantic.
