Another day is gone and soon the semester will come to an end. When I was on my way to take train to meet my friends, I wondered what occasion it is today. There are a lot of angmohs dress really nice today! The ladies dress elegantly with the little cocktail hat wore for functions while the guys dressed in tuxedo. Everyone looks really good!!!!
Another thing I would like to mention is that I'm really glad to know some good friends during my first semester in school. Initially, I had the urge of going back to Singapore as the system here is kind of different which I thought it was quite struggling. At one glance, no matter where you are, everyone here seem so independent unlike me.
Over here, everything is like DIY or I shall say Self-Service. Indeed, you get to see a lot of different types of people too. Some of the people are homeless, they just simply sleep on the cardboard in the street during the cold winter night as they have to wait for 20years for their turn to get a home. (that's what I heard) Even though there are vacant houses in the country, they are not allowed/refused to let them stay in there. Isn't that weird?? But, this is the facts here. I also came across an incident whereby the tram driver refuse to stop for me. I am sure that he is being racist..It's not like I DIDN'T step out of the road to WAVE at you or neither am I running to the tram stop! If the car besides the tram slows down for me, I'm sure you can see me unless you are blind... FINE if you don't stop. When you have stopped at the traffic light, I got the urge to knock on your door but I didn't as I thought it was inappropriate to board the tram at a road junction. Though it's a minor issue but somehow I got quite irritated by this cos' it simply wasting my time waiting for another 15 mins-20 mins for another tram to arrive. Damn you! You also try to look at another direction when you know I'm looking at you. Angry!!!! Perhaps, what my brother told me was right. Don't always be too nice, if you're always too nice/go easy with something, you tend to get bully easily. When will I able to learn from my brother??? one who is always so firm. There is also one incident whereby he embarrassed one of the post office staffs infront of everybody-_-''' That's the joke of the day but I think that incident really pissed him off. Bro told me in future, Don't care & just knock on the tram door and yelled at him! WHY ARENT U STOPPING FOR ME?? As this is what some over here may do if you miss him/her at the tram stop and with the "F*****" words coming out of the mouth.
The good friends I have met make me enjoy my stay here, not feeling lonely and stuffs=) Keep introducing me where are the nice food stores over here.. Ooops! Here am I talking about food again?? Sinful... Besides talking about food, one of my friends,Vivian even offer to show me where is the exam venue (Multiple Sport Centre) as I have no idea where it is located. That's really nice of her. I'm so glad to have know them if only they are from same course as me that's will be nice but too bad they're not. =(
Meet up with Vivian for lunch at Menya (Jap restaurant)today. Nice fried dumpling they served=) After which, headed to school to study with Vivian, Pupe and Kelvin. I really love the design room that Kelvin & his friends have booked. So spacious!!!!! We turned on the online radio start listening to the top r&b songs and Pupe shouted " LET PARTY & DANCE PEOPLE YEA!!". That's so funny of her and we kept disturbing Kai ming by calling him (EGG TOH/JI DAN) As Pupe told me that 'Kai' in thai means "EGG". So ever since, we have been calling him nickname. hahah! Poor him but we enjoy it... hahah. I'm sure he enjoys it too.
Lately, busy typing out my law notes before start my revision. I hope I can do well. I can't wait for exam to be over. I look forward to our Giraffee Cafe session after exams!!!! Jiayou jiayou!!! Self-discipline for now.
