Been rather busy with school works & assignment lately. Never-ending tutorials & preparation for lecture that kept me occupied. Mgmt Accting is driving us all crazy, finding it so hard to understand. Gonna endure & work doubly hard! Add oil!!Add oil!!Add oil!!!

Over the weekend, met up with my mentor Vali and an exchange student from Finland for lunch at Old Town kopitiam in Chinatown. Headed down to Max Brenner for mint hot chocolates! *Sinful* Need to lose weight already! After which, we went to Royal Melbourne Botanic Garden for a walk. There are some pic uploaded on fb though! =)

Singapore National day is coming soon. I'm going to watch it so called 'LIVE' at University of Melbourne with Florina & Jian fen. This event is organised by the Singapore Association Society whereby they gather all the Singaporeans from Rmit, Monash and Uni of Melb. That's cool! Anyway, see how innovative the people are! Look at the ticket below! It's cute isn't it?? =p

More or less, I'm getting used to my uni life=) I'm also grateful to the m'sian friend that I've made- Shu, who shows me around in school - telling me the ulu spot/area that we can study and eat.

I'm starting to miss Singapore already -mainly my family & friends!!!!
I miss sitting in a lecture hall with a group of friends.
I miss attending tutorials together with my buddies.
I miss eating together with my friends.
Guess what?!?! Now, I'm doing this all alone. Honestly, I'm still not used to it. I don't know how to explain but the feeling is just kind of weird. Hopefully as time goes by, I'll slowly get used to it. Perhaps by going through this process, it will train me to be more independent.

University life and Poly life has such a great difference.
There's seem to be so much more things that need to prepare beforehand such as reading up of the lecture notes and textbook before each lesson. *Sigh!! it's just so tiring. How I wish that uni life end quickly!!" I'm still trying to catch up to the speed of the each lecturer.
I'll be taking one of my "FAV" subject this sem - Commerical Law.
A subject that is always so greek to me.
My law tutor seem to be one of those really pushy kind of tutor who will force you to study and participate in class by challenging her. From what I've heard, she's really strict.
I like this kind of tutor!! Hopefully, she can helped me PASS my law subject=p Yea. PUSH ME! PUSH ME! hahaha.

Had a straight 4 hrs of lecture (econs & mgmt accting) today and met up with Florina after that for lunch at 'Old Town' @ Swanton Street- selling some asian food. Food was quite good and service was great!! Thumb up!

Management Accounting - It's seem tough as I had problems understanding it. Basically, the lecturer reads word by word from the slides -_-''' Just Kill me. Lol. It gets really bored. Valerie jiu ming!! lol.

I'll be having my commercial law lecture from 6.30pm- 8.30pm tomorrow!! At least, I found one HK friend same timing as me! So, it still not so bad afterall. Trying to console myself that it's only 6.30pm in Singapore!!! =p hehehe.

Alright, it's Dinner time and off to do my FA tutorial.

Orientation for international students was held on Wednesday, so met up with the other 2 Singaporeans and we headed there together at 11am sharp. Even though we reached there on time, we were surprised and was told that the lecture hall could not accomodate all students as it was already at its maximum capacity. Since we have no place to go, we went over to the main library,started to msn-ing and facebooking. Lunch in the city, visited my friend's unilodge - small little cosy room with the kitchen and toilet in one. Overall, still not so bad for one person but it was like so damn expensive to stay there.

Made our way to Bridge Road for the Espirit FO and the Crocs! Oh yes, I ended up buying 1 crocs at $20! It was so much cheaper as compare to Singapore!!!!! =).

Cycling. Tennis. Sleeping. Eating - My daily routine at this moments!

School is starting! yay!! I'm excited yet scared.

I really wish that time could pass slightly faster. Every single day I tried to find thing to do in order to keep myself busy - as I'm getting alittle bored over here. How nice if friends are here with me too! I'm thinking of finding a part-time job so that when vacation comes, at least there's something to keep me occupy!

Yesterday met up with Florina for a walk as both of us are rotting away at home.We went to the Sunday Flea market at Art Centre as well as one at St Kilda Beach. Interesting things were sold - mainly is hand-made crafts. Totally impressed with their art work! After which, using the guide-book Jialing bought, we headed down to fitzroy street for lunch. Couldn't find the restaurant stated in the book though. So, we ended up in an Italian restaurant I suppose selling some pizza and spagetti. We ordered a Greek salad and spagetti to share. As usual, we couldn't finish our food as the portion was almost twice the size of what is serve in Singapore. Spagetti was great with lots of bacons!!! *thumb up! Headed back to city to meet my bro and his gf for some grocery shopping and went back home!

I hope it's not going to rain tomorrow as I really wanted to go out for a walk.

Life is so different here.Every single day, I keep thinking about what I'm going to do. The feeling of having no friend around is so sucky.At least, I'm still considered myself lucky to have my brother here with me. Went to my school yesterday for enrolment- feeling alittle scare of losing my way here. Everything here is all on your own- It's stressing me!!

Just planned my timetable this morning. It's really a headache to plan your own timetable. It's gonna be a long monday for me and one of the day I had my lecture ending at 8.30pm=( Anyway, the good thing is that I'm able to keep my Friday free. Yay~Long weekend!!! Guess that would be the time for me to catch up? Hopefully, when school term starts, everything would be better for me.

The feeling of no friend is horrible. argh. Hope my friends are doing well. Miss you guys! =)

First of all, I would like to thanks all my relatives, cousins, colleagues and not forgetting my dearie friends for all the lovely farewell gifts/cards and also the effort of you guys arranging the dinner/lunch. I really appreciate it =) Time really flies, I'll flying off to aussie tonight for studies. Definately, it's great to be a student once again after stepping into the workforce for a year plus.Yay~!!

I'm having a mixed feeling right now -Excited and scare. Looking forward to experience the new and exciting environment of melb. One of my colleague even told me: "You should try eating ice-cream during the cold-winter season!!" Mm..I think the feeling must be shiok!!
